JLCounter Quick Start Guide

1. Double click JLCounter.exe to start the program, under Count Menu select the type of study you want to perform
   
   
2. Select Turing Movement, or hit Ctrl + N, to perform Intersection Turning Movement Counts Study.
   
3. After select facing Direction, Click “Start” Button to Start the Counts
   
4. Select “Time-stamped Raw data” from View menu to show the data collected, the user can arrange the two forms to show at the same time and see the effects of adding/deleting one vehicle
   
5. Use “Open”, “Save”, “Save As” under File Menu to open existing file and save current time-stamped raw data. Use “Save Counts Summary” to save current data in counts summary format.
6. Under Options Menu, Click “Start Assign Shortcut Keys”
   
7. Click Option under Options Menu
   
8. For Manual Classification Study
   
9. Click “Load Scheme” Under File menu
   
10. For Signalized Intersection Delay Study
